About us

One Safe Place is a safe place for anyone who has experienced family violence, elder abuse, child abuse, hate crimes, human trafficking, or other crimes. At One Safe Place – The North County Family Justice Center – we provide comprehensive free services in a safe and judgement-free environment that empowers people to move forward with their lives. We have dozens of community partners on site, in collaboration with the District Attorney’s Office, who are here to help.

“Victims and survivors of all crime types will find the help they need at One Safe Place— The North County Family Justice Center. It is so much more than a building. One Safe Place is made up of caring, dedicated professionals who are all coming together to protect victims from violence and abuse and prevent harm. We heard the voices of victims who struggle to regain their safety, heal from trauma, find shelter and economic stability and we responded with OneSafe Place in the North County where children, adults and seniors are welcome. Please reach out and we will do all we can to help you and your family live safely and find hope, healing and justice.”
